I like to develop my printmaking every time I print. I experiment with new ways of mark making and work in a variety of media. Working in this way gives me a broader resource and variety of marks that I can use in my prints. This experimental approach can produce 'happy accidents' and the unexpected in my work. Line, simplicity of shape, texture, colour and the observation of small details are all evident in my work. The subjects of my prints are landscapes and natural forms all of which usually have a personal connection in some way.
I have a BA Hons(first) in two dimensional design, and have worked as an illustrator and as a visiting university lecturer.
